Altberg


The Altberg story begins with Mr William Shepherd of Rochdale. 
Rochdale is the home of the co-operative movement founded in 1844 by the Rochdale pioneers.
The original co-op building where the pioneers first established the Co-op can still be seen at Toad Lane in Rochdale.
