 Scott Orbit is an uphill orientated backcountry boot ready to tackle whatever the season brings. What is sacrificed in weight is made up for with a highly stable boot with a higher cuff for greater downhill performance and a buckle/strap system that saves time and effort during transitions. Unique to the Orbit is Scott's TwinOne X closure buckle system which optimises the forefoot closure with a simple, lightweight solution. By incorporating Grilamid into the construction, POWERLITE boots are stiffer, lighter and thinner than other lightweight shells. Reinforcing ribs throughout the shell and cuff provide maximum rigidity while maintaining a low weight. A full length Vibram bi-density rubber sole provides maximum grip when scrambling over any terrain that isn't snow, with a firmer rubber around the outside for durability.
